A lawmaker representing Oluyole Federal Constituency, Tolulope Akande-Sadipe, has described the late former governor of Oyo State, Abiola Ajimobi, as a true statesman whose legacies will never be forgotten.

She said this while paying tribute to Ajimobi to commemorate his remembrance in a statement issued in Abuja on Wednesday.

Ajimobi passed away on June 25, 2020, at the age of 70 during a brief illness.

According to her, Ajimobi was an exceptional statesman who made indelible marks in public service.

She also said the late former governor could best be described as the architect of modern Oyo State, saying he left the office with distinct legacies and achievements.
