In a commendable display of support and welfare for pilgrims, the Personal Assistant to the Chief Imam of Ibadanland, Mr. Sulaimon Idris Titilope, who is also the Chief Executive Officer of Al-Hamid Titilope Venture, has lauded the efforts of Governor Seyi Makinde and the Chairman of the Oyo State Pilgrims Welfare Board Muslim Wing, Fadilat Sheikh Hashim Olamide Abdul Wahab Atere.
This acknowledgment comes as the first and second batches of Oyo State Hajj delegations successfully departed for Saudi Arabia.
In a press statement personally signed by Mr. Sulaimon Idris and made available to the media, he expressed his deep appreciation for the remarkable arrangements and welfare provided to the pilgrims.
“Governor Seyi Makinde’s administration, in collaboration with Sheikh Atere, has ensured that our pilgrims are well-cared for, reflecting a high standard of organization and concern for the well-being of our people,” said Mr. Idris.
He also extended his heartfelt gratitude to His Eminence, Sheikh AbdulGaniy Abubakry Agbotomokekere, the Chief Imam of Ibadanland, the Grand Imam of Oyo State, and the Grand Patron of the League of Imams and Alfas of Yorubaland, Edo, and Delta States.

“Sheikh Agbotomokekere has consistently played a fatherly role, providing guidance and support, especially since Fadilat Sheikh Hashim Olamide Abdul Wahab Atere assumed the position of Chairman of the Oyo State Pilgrims Welfare Board Muslim Wing.” Mr. Idris noted.
The seamless departure of the first and second batches of pilgrims stands as a testament to the efficient coordination and dedication of all involved in this sacred journey.
Mr. Idris emphasized the importance of such collaborative efforts in fostering a positive and spiritually fulfilling experience for the pilgrims.
“We are grateful for the leadership and vision demonstrated by Governor Makinde and Sheikh Atere, which have significantly enhanced the pilgrimage experience for our citizens. Their commitment to the welfare of the pilgrims is highly commendable,” he added.
Mr. Idris concluded by wishing all the pilgrims a safe journey and a spiritually rewarding Hajj, urging them to pray for the peace, progress, and prosperity of Oyo State and Nigeria as a whole.
