Lagos Speaker Mudashiru Obasa Loses Father
Pa Suleimon Atanda Obasa, father of the Speaker of Lagos State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Mudashiru Obasa, is dead.
The Speaker made this known in a statement issued on Tuesday by his Chief Press Secretary, Eromosele Ebhomele.
According to the statement, the businessman passed on in the early hours of Tuesday at the age of 83.

Confirming his demise, the Secretary of the Orile Agege Local Council Development Area chapter of the All Progressives Congress, who doubles as the Special Adviser to the Speaker on Political and Legislative Affairs, Fatai Olagoke Ajibola, in a statement on Tuesday, said the late Obasa would be buried today according to Islamic rites.
He is survived by his wives, children and grandchildren, among whom he is the Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly.
