Oyo state governor, Seyi Makinde, on Monday, May 27, said his administration remains committed to providing the right foundation to enable children to succeed.

The governor spoke in a statement commemorating the 2024 Children’s Day, noting that children are special and deserve the best of life.

The governor said his administration believes that the right foundations is important to children’s growth and progress, hence its strong commitment to improving the quality of education and healthcare delivery in the state.

He said his administration’s strides are hinged on the fact that children are special and deserve the best of life.

He said: “As we celebrate our children on their special day, we restate our administration’s commitment to ensuring that we provide the right foundation to enable them to succeed in life. “Happy Children’s Day!”
